My mom gave birth at 53 years old easily. She never had any problems with me, I grew up quite healthy. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant. What's unexpected is that I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению многих врачей наиболее лучший возраст для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не желательно предварительно переживать, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого термина как идеальный возраст для родоразрешения детей. Проблемы могут появляться среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц почти в равной степени. Все обуславливается определенными характеристиками организма. Чтобы будущая мама беспроблемно родила в 53, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных предписаний и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться акушеру.
