My mother gave birth at 53 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed into a fairly healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What is unexpected: I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению многих специалистов наиболее оптимальный возраст для появления ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не желательно заранее волноваться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как оптимальный возраст для родоразрешения детей. Проблемы могут появляться среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в идентичной степени. Все обуславливается имеющимися характеристиками организма. Чтобы будущая мама удачно родила в 53, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и здорового образа жизни во время беременности ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не бояться и довериться специалисту.
