My mom gave birth at 53 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed into a healthy child. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant. What's unexpected is that I am as old as her. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению большинства специалистов наиболее оптимальный возраст для рождения ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не нужно предварительно волноваться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого термина как идеальный возраст для родов детей. Трудности могут возникать среди юных и зрелых рожениц практически в идентичной степени. Все связано с индивидуальными особенностями организма. Чтобы будущая мама успешно родила в 53, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и здорового образа жизни во время беременности ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не паниковать и довериться специалисту.
