My mom gave birth at 53 years old easily. She never had any problems with me, I was a rather clumsy child growing up. Recently, I found out that she's pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm as old as her. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению большинства врачей наиболее удачный период для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит предварительно волноваться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. В действительности не существует такого термина как идеальный возраст для родов детей. Сложности могут возникать среди молодых и зрелых рожениц практически в одинаковой степени. Все обуславливается определенными свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама успешно родила в 53, следует, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и здорового образа жизни во время беременности ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться специалисту.
