Good day, I am 25 weeks pregnant. Had an ultrasound today, they looked and said everything is good with the baby, it's developing properly, BUT they found a defect in the interatrial septum in the muscular part of 0.22cm. The doctor says that surgery isn't required, you just need to be monitored by a cardiologist after birth, and wait. Usually, the noise should go away by age 5. Has anyone encountered something like this? Should I worry?
