Girls, hi! What age did your kids start showing interest in rodents?

Girls, hi! What age did your kids start showing interest in rodents? Mine is two months old, actively drools and puts his fist in his mouth, but the rodent only when I hold it in my hand. Maybe still little or I'm missing something??
