At the first screening, we set a threshold risk for Down syndrome due to elevated hCG and it wasn't that big, even though my normal level is 128.5. I have 132 and the doctor said this is because of placental insufficiency as I have a large hematoma and my father is in normal range. Everything is perfectly fine according to the ultrasound. Has anyone encountered such a problem?
