Hello, today I had a checkup at the clinic, they diagnosed me with uterine tone, a head in the small pelvis and an infection of the gestational pyelonephritis. What does all this mean? Am I going to give birth soon?

Well, uterine tone and the baby's head in the pelvis mean labor is approaching; if, of course, you're under medical supervision and follow the treatment, you'll carry to term. And regarding infection, they should simply check you more often now to rule out infection reaching the baby.

1237 , They're putting me in the hospital on the 9th. I don't know, maybe I should refuse because of this coronavirus — they aren't letting anyone into the hospital, I won't be able to see my loved ones.

Татьяна , No, but if you want premature labor, stay home ??‍♀️

Татьяна , Is it more important to you to spend a couple of days under observation and save the baby, or to not see your loved ones for a couple of days?!?‍♀️

1237 , What if they actually keep me there until I give birth? How am I supposed to know — there's still a whole month until the birth.

Татьяна , So what? If they keep you, it means they want to preserve your pregnancy until the scheduled term. If you're not worried about premature labor, then please stay home and that's it. I personally at 32 weeks ended up in the hospital with uterine contractions because of psychos and the doctors did everything to prevent premature labor, and you still have an infection, and the baby's head is already in the pelvis — that's another +40% closer to labor ??‍♀️

Татьяна , the first two days I stayed there lying down; they gave me IV drips and injections the other 2 days I took pills during all the days they did CTG, ultrasound and examined me on the gynecological chair I asked to go home; they told me I needed to stay a bit longer to be observed When they finally told me that everything was fine, that there was improvement, I signed a refusal and went home, but with the permission of the head of the pathology department All in all I stayed 6–7 days; if, of course, they had told me I needed to stay until the end of the pregnancy, I would have stayed, because my child's health is more important to me than this time.

Алтынай , What is this even? And does it take a long time to treat?

Алтынай , I was in the hospital for about 10 days and was given antibiotics by injection; because of that I had a fever and my urine tests were bad. I think it was something to do with my kidneys, but it got back to normal by my due date and I gave birth to my son.

Did they keep you in the hospital until your due date?

Татьяна , You have very little time left until your due date, what are you worrying about? I understand they'd have put you on bed rest in the early stages.

My baby's head descended into the pelvis at 37 weeks, but I didn't have all the other diagnoses like you had. I gave birth at 39 weeks.

Kidneys are a serious matter. In any case you’ll need to take antibiotics, and you’re usually admitted to the hospital so you’re under supervision and monitoring while taking them. Put yourself in a good, gentle frame of mind and tolerate it a little so you don’t harm yourself or the baby.

They will definitely treat your kidneys, it's serious, especially for pregnant women They'll inject antibiotics and possibly magnesium IV drips, for the tone I don't think you'll give birth yet, unless of course the infection is advanced
