Nope. No medicine will help with this. The baby can untangle. You should get an ultrasound before labor (I'll be at 38 weeks) to see what's going on. If the cord wrap gets tighter, they'll do a C-section. Otherwise it's not dangerous — while the baby is in the womb, they breathe through the umbilical cord and it can't suffocate them. If it's a vaginal delivery, as soon as the head is out the midwife will remove the cord loops from the neck. Don't worry, it's very common. Some people don't even know and give birth with a cord around the neck.

Thank you so much ❤️ I really started worrying about it. I just came from the hospital — I'm shaking all over. And the baby still hasn't taken the right position, so I'm worried about that too ((

It can also turn and come undone. The scariest thing is that you may be facing a C-section. The baby is like in weightlessness there and won't hurt itself. For example, I went to the 3rd screening and they didn't tell me anything, then a couple days later I went for a 3D ultrasound and they discovered it. So either it wrapped around in 2 days or the previous doctors were like that. I was scared at first too, then I read about it, talked to the doctor and calmed down.
It happened with the second child and with the third: with the second I untangled it myself, with the third they discovered it during a scheduled C-section and said it was good that they did the C-section.

This is my first C-section. Right now the doctor says if everything is okay I'll give birth naturally. But after the ultrasound I don't know what they'll say.
We didn't have this with the first child; I hope everything will be okay ? Now every doctor's visit includes an ultrasound, I've read so many things—some say it's fine, others say it's bad? Let's hope for the best ?❤️?
I had an ultrasound at 38 weeks. The report said there was no nuchal cord, but during labor (39 weeks 5 days) it turned out there was a double loop. Everything went well. Don't worry ? everything will be fine ?
