Hello everyone, I'm already 39 weeks pregnant and I'm wondering if contractions started at night then what should I do? Doctors probably will stay home or how will it be like?

There are always on-duty doctors who take in women in labor at night and, of course, handle deliveries... but, as I was told, it's better to get to the maternity hospital in your own car or by taxi, not by ambulance... they drive terribly, it's scary on the roads, and you have to wait a long time. Don't forget your maternity card and ID. They are required to admit you if labor has started

There are on-call teams. Call an ambulance and go. Don't worry.

There are on-duty doctors at the maternity hospital. The doctors there admit women in labor 24/7. So go with a calm mind — you'll be admitted anyway. If contractions have started, call an ambulance and that's it.
