Hello everyone. I'm struggling with nasal congestion, especially at night before sleep, and in the morning. Yesterday, my husband bought Ectorin-S, I sprayed it before sleep and again just recently. It seems like there are no changes. Or maybe I was too tired to notice anything and just fell asleep. Has anyone used this, does it help with a blocked nose, can you advise? (I'm attaching a photo)??

Hello! I can't see the photo you attached, but I can give you some advice. Ectorin-S is a disinfectant for the nose that can help with nasal congestion. However, if you have serious nasal issues, it's better to consult a doctor for professional advice and treatment. In addition to Ectorin-S, you can also try using saline sprays or nasal drops, and perform nasal cleansing procedures with normalizing agents. Don't forget about damp cleaning in the room and using humidifiers. I hope you manage to deal with your nasal congestion!

Because it's just a saline solution, it doesn't reduce swelling. You need vasoconstrictors, like Otrivin, naphazoline. It's better to use those based on xylometazoline.

I have the same issue; I just use xylometazoline for relief. During pregnancy and while breastfeeding, the ENT doctor said it's hormonal rhinitis. We'll treat it with hormones after breastfeeding, but thank God, the baby is doing well, because I use it very often for congestion.
