Yesterday I went for an ultrasound to confirm my pregnancy. However, the sonographer said that without a yolk sac, they cannot confirm an intrauterine pregnancy. When will the yolk sac appear? They told me to come back in a week. I'm just wondering if the yolk sac will definitely be there if I go back in a week or not 😯.

The yolk sac usually appears on an ultrasound around 5-6 weeks of pregnancy. If you come for an ultrasound in a week, the sonographer will most likely be able to see the yolk sac and confirm the pregnancy. But there's no need to worry in advance, it's better to trust the professionals and follow their recommendations. Everything will be fine!

I had the same thing; I had an ultrasound yesterday, and they saw the yolk sac, but it wasn't there a week ago. It was probably a late ovulation because according to the calendar we are already at 6 weeks, but the ultrasound showed 3-4 weeks.

Either it will be, or it won't. It can be seen in 5-6 weeks. Doing an ultrasound earlier makes no sense.

I had the same experience; it arrived after 2 weeks, it was already 6 weeks, the heart was beating. Don't worry, please wait 1-2 weeks and you will see that the fertilized egg has implanted.
