Hello everyone... I'm 40 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I had an ultrasound today, and they said the baby is in a transverse lie. They told me to wait until the 41st week of pregnancy; if I'm lucky, the baby might turn, otherwise, it will be a scheduled C-section. Has anyone experienced this? Can the baby still turn into the correct position at this stage???

Hello! Yes, I had a similar situation. My baby was in a transverse position until the last moment, and I also had to wait until the 41st week to see whether he would turn on his own or not. Eventually, my baby turned by himself and I had a natural birth. However, of course, every situation is unique, and not always can the baby choose the correct position by themselves. In any case, trust your doctor and follow their recommendations. Everything will be fine, I wish you an easy delivery!

Hello. The baby can turn around before birth. If it doesn't turn, then a cesarean section is better.
