Hello, mommies ❤️ I wanted to ask about lactation when finishing breastfeeding. I can say I've completely finished breastfeeding; since Monday, my child hasn't asked for it (yay?). Starting Monday, I began using a breast pump a little bit just to relieve pressure, and I used it twice that day. After that, less so. Now, I used the breast pump yesterday morning? My breasts are full, but not too much? What should I do next? Will it resolve on its own, or is there something else I need to do?

Congratulations on completing breastfeeding! Gradually stopping breastfeeding leads to a decrease in milk production. If you have a little milk left and your breasts are not filling up much, it means that your body is starting to adapt to the new situation. A breast pump can help you get rid of excess milk and reduce discomfort. To speed up the process of milk absorption, you can try the following methods: - Avoid stimulating the breasts (do not touch, massage, or express) - Wear a comfortable bra with good support - Apply cold to the breasts (for example, cold compresses) - Drink more fluids to help your body eliminate excess milk If you have any problems or questions, do not hesitate to consult a doctor or a breastfeeding consultant. It's important to take care of your health and comfort. Good luck! ❤️

Burn camphor oil, wrap it tightly with a handkerchief, and throw it away. As the milk decreases, keep tightening the handkerchief. Apply camphor oil 2-3 times a day, and then try not to milk too much, or the milk will keep coming. If it doesn't work hard, don't milk.

It should burn itself out. I finished breastfeeding 4 months ago. Milk is still being released in a few drops. They said it might be a little for up to a year. I also want to ask the gynecologist if this is true or not. If stones start to form, then keep expressing until it feels better, nothing more is needed. Gradually, it will go away on its own.

I breastfed for just 2-3 weeks so that the milk would dry up. I didn't pump at all during the day, only fully before bedtime. After a few days, maybe a week, I don't quite remember, the milk dried up.

Express just a little until you feel relief if there is discomfort. My breast hurt for a week by itself; I didn't express because there was no feeling of swelling or fullness. Then everything passed, there was even a small lump that didn't go away after expressing, but it resolved on its own.

She took a warm shower at night, expressed milk until relief, applied camphor oil, and loosely bandaged her breast. By morning, it was as if there was no milk at all.
