Hello! My child (9 months old) has been experiencing frequent sneezing, clear nasal discharge, fussiness, constant desire for breastfeeding, and appears sleepy in the last few days. He becomes fussy about 10-15 minutes after waking up. These symptoms are not accompanied by a fever. Could this be related to the eruption of upper teeth, or are these signs of an allergy or a cold? What can be done to alleviate the condition? When should I be concerned and consult a doctor?

Good day! The symptoms you described could be related to teething, allergies, or a cold. To alleviate the child's discomfort, you can try gentle gum massage, offer cold objects to chew on, and use special gels to numb the gums. You can also use nasal drops based on sea water to clear the nose of mucus. If the symptoms do not improve or worsen, if there is a high fever, refusal of food or fluids, then it is advisable to consult a doctor for professional advice and treatment. In case of breathing difficulties or other serious symptoms, immediate medical attention is necessary.

Consult a pediatrician to have an examination. They will check the throat and also see which teeth are coming in. Everything is individual.
