Girls, those of you with polycystic ovary syndrome, how do you manage to get pregnant? How did you manage to conceive, is there a chance of pregnancy? I really want to have children, but there's a hormonal imbalance.

Every month I had a cyst (follicular), and 10 years ago it burst, and by some miracle a piece of the ovary was preserved. I also had a pregnancy in this ovary. Pregnancy can occur with cysts, but throughout the pregnancy, I had ultrasounds to monitor it to make sure it didn’t grow too much.

Julia , They told me to regulate my hormones and everything would be fine. The symptoms were nausea, delay, sensitivity to smells, bloating, feeling weak, occasional temperature of 37 degrees Celsius, fatigue, a pregnancy test with a faint second line, but an hCG level of 1.2, and I went for an ultrasound but they didn't confirm a pregnancy.

Екатерина , I also had symptoms: chills, bloating. It was still too early for an ultrasound, so I monitored it through hCG levels.

Екатерина , I simply took the test 5 times and then went to the gynecologist with the results. She said the growth dynamics definitely indicate pregnancy, and then at 6 weeks I went for an ultrasound and there they saw the fertilized egg had implanted.

Julia , You know, I had a delay of already 46 days. I had an ultrasound a couple of days ago, and there were minor delays of 10-15 days, well, basically a month for sure, but the strange thing is that the tests showed a faint second line, but the hCG didn't increase; it stayed at 1.2. Also, they told me that it could have been a cryptic pregnancy, like just the symptoms but actually, it's like a false one.

Екатерина , I didn't even have a delay. I realized something was wrong based on the symptoms. Then I went on to take an hCG test, as I didn't really trust those express tests.

Julia , The situation is as follows: I did the usual tests everywhere, and there's a faint second line appearing, which has even started to get brighter in some tests. However, the Clearblue, which shows the weeks, is showing a negative. But when you open it up, those lines, which I know have meaning, show as if it's one week -2. The strange thing is that hCG initially shows up in the blood and later in the urine.

Maybe you should treat the polycystic condition and consult with a reproductive specialist about IVF. Everyone's body is different, and pregnancy also doesn't happen at the same speed for everyone. From my own experience, I had polycystic ovary syndrome (many cysts) + endometriosis. The doctors said that the ovaries' thick walls, due to hormonal imbalance, prevented the eggs from being released. They wanted to perform ovarian drilling, which involves making cuts in the ovaries, but they couldn't guarantee that it would result in pregnancy (I refused), as I knew people who had bad outcomes from this surgery. A successful pregnancy eventually happened naturally after 13 years. Before that, there were pregnancies, but they miscarried at very early stages. But this doesn’t mean that you will also have difficulties; I know people with polycystic ovaries who got pregnant quickly and everything was fine. I took borovoy uterus for 2 cycles before getting pregnant, I wish I had learned about it earlier, it helped me. And I did douches for 10 days with a decoction of borovoy uterus + red brush, once before starting the course. Regarding symptoms, when you really want to get pregnant, you can find a bunch of different symptoms in yourself; over time, I just stopped paying attention to them to avoid getting upset again ?.

When I experienced a delay, symptoms, and a questionable and then positive test, not just one, I then, so to speak, listened to my body and felt that I was pregnant. Otherwise, if it was a hormonal imbalance, I would have taken care of my health.
