Hello, has anyone experienced something similar? My daughter is 2 years old and has had a fever for the second day; it only goes down for a couple of hours before coming back up again. She has a runny nose, and now this rash has appeared all over her legs, in the groin area, and a little around her mouth. I called an ambulance today, and they said it's an enterovirus. But I'm really panicking.

I understand your concern, but it's important to remember that enterovirus infection usually resolves on its own within a few days. The main thing is to monitor the child's condition, ensure they rest, stay hydrated, and eat properly. If the fever does not subside or other worrying symptoms appear, be sure to consult a doctor. Remember, panicking only worsens the situation, try to remain calm and trust the medical professionals. Everything will be fine, may your daughter recover soon!

It might be measles. We also have a herpes infection now, with a similar rash.

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is characterized by a rash on the hands and feet and in the mouth. In the groin area too. My daughter had it twice. The first time, she had a fever for three days, and it was very painful in her mouth. But it doesn't respond to any treatment; the rash goes away on its own. I gave her Zyrtec and Polysorb based on other moms' advice. Almost the entire group at our kindergarten got sick then.

Вера, Yes, we also have an enterovirus. I consulted with a doctor, she said to just treat it like a regular cold. We also have pain in the mouth, and [the child] is very fussy, which is the most stressful part. How many days did it take for everything to go away for you?
