Good day. I want to ask for advice, has anyone had any issues with their kidneys during pregnancy, specifically hydronephrosis of pregnancy? The doctors are telling me to have a stent placed, but I am very afraid of the last anesthesia for the baby, I am at 25 weeks. Please share, I am very worried and don't know what to do❤️?

Good day! I understand that this is a very difficult situation for you. Hydronephrosis in pregnancy can be dangerous for both your health and the health of your baby, so it is important to follow the doctors' recommendations. If the doctors recommend placing a stent, it is likely necessary to alleviate your condition and prevent complications. The doctors perform anesthesia taking into account all safety measures for pregnant women, and they know how to minimize risks to the baby. If you have any doubts or fears, be sure to discuss them with your doctor. They will be able to explain all the details of the procedure to you and answer all your questions. Remember, the health of you and your baby is the most important thing, so do not delay the necessary treatment. Take care of yourself and pay attention to the doctors' advice. Everything will be fine! ❤️?

Hello, I had a very sad experience. At 27 weeks, I suffered from renal colic; there were stones, and the pain was hellish. They inserted a stent into my ureter and told me to only remove it after giving birth. The first two days were fine, but after being discharged, the nightmare began. I couldn't do anything at all. Walking was painful, lying down was painful, and I had constant painful urges to go to the toilet (I felt the need to urinate every five minutes) and there was blood in my urine. For two weeks, I couldn't even leave the house. After this time, the stent fell out on its own. They wanted to put it back in, but I refused. After that, I had two more episodes of renal colic about every week and a half. When I arrived at the hospital with my fourth episode of renal colic, they insisted on putting in another stent, took me for surgery, and, miraculously, they found the troublesome stone. You can't imagine how happy I was. After that, my kidneys no longer bothered me, but I was still scared for a long time and felt like they were starting to hurt again. But of course, everyone's experience is different.

I had hydronephrosis of the right kidney during my first pregnancy, it didn't bother me. It had no effect on the child. After giving birth, it went away. The fetus was pressing on the kidney, which wasn't emptying completely. My son was large.

I also had chronic pyelonephritis. They said to put something in the bladder, but I refused and took Canephron twice a day instead. It's necessary to do that depending on how dangerous it is to walk around with kidney issues. Remove salty foods and sodas. Plus, you need to get drips, which doctors should prescribe. I gave birth at 37 weeks because I was in the pathology ward and there was self-suggestion from seeing others giving birth there ?.
