Hello girls. Please tell me how your births started? Pregnancy is 40 weeks and 5 days. I read that you should feel pain in your belly and lower back. My lower back hurts but my belly doesn't. How can I know when labor starts?

I'm due around the same time My lower back mostly aches at night My tummy hasn't done anything at all ??‍♀️ When the contractions start, you'll know right away, don't worry ?

Believe me, you won't miss when labor starts. Contractions will start and it's very painful ? a wave-like pain in your belly and back. It builds, hurts a lot, and then eases. If there are equal intervals between these "pains" — then they're contractions. If there are no equal intervals — they're not real contractions.

I come out, lie down, it’s wet again, I get up, annoyed that I have to run around so early, I wanted to sleep, and then suddenly in the bathroom my waters broke, I run to my husband ?‍♀️ wake him up and tell him it’s time to give birth, he’s panicking, my waters are breaking and contractions are starting slowly, I hadn’t felt anything until the contractions began ??‍♀️ I gave birth at 5 PM

They broke my water, an hour later I felt some pulling pains in my belly, a bit stronger than during my period, then it happened again, then stronger... then the intervals got shorter.. I felt nauseous because the cervix was opening, and once the intervals shorten they get stronger each time.. it feels like they’re twisting your bones... at that moment you need to relax and breathe, I was comfortable lying down... I’ll say right away it’s only scary before labor because of the unknown, then you’re immersed in your sensations, you time the contractions and breathe.. after that nothing is scary) listen to the doctors and everything will be fine ??

I think you won't mistake labor contractions for anything else. They say it really, really hurts ??‍♀️

In my first pregnancy at 40.5 weeks my mucus plug came away in the morning. And during the day, with every step my lower back hurt a lot. I didn’t do anything about it, just kept walking and enduring it. In the evening it started to hurt in waves — sometimes the lower belly, sometimes the lower back. Then at 2 a.m. I woke up from contractions; my belly was cramping. But when they broke my water in the morning, my belly stopped hurting completely, though my lower back felt like it was being kicked nonstop. And it stayed like that for 6 hours until the birth.)
