Girls, can you tell me, was I sent on maternity leave on December 16th, and my appointment is December 23rd, I don't understand, but in the organization isn't a sick note needed from December 16th?

У меня декрет начался с 12.10.20, а больничный лист был только готов 14.10.20. Хотя на приём я пришла 12 октября??‍♀️ На работе сказали это нормальная практика, написала потом заявление с какого числа ухожу и все нормально.
