Please help me understand how they counted weeks during pregnancy. Was it based on Monday to Sunday (one week), or was there another pattern? Please help.

last day of your menstrual period

nope... start counting from the first day of your last period eg 16th of September is when u last saw ur period, 16th will be 1, 17th will be 2 till it gets to 7 which makes 1 week. thats aw u will count till December 3rd..... thats why u hear most most women say there 5 weeks 3 days pregnant
