Hello expectant mothers, I would like to know at what month(s) can the baby's heartbeat be heard? I went to the clinic and the nurse said it was too early according to my weeks pregnant but she still heard it. I am 26 weeks.

26 weeks is not too early o, you should have be hearing your baby kicking by your self now, except if you use to work or stay in a lousy area, you may pick it in time but when you are in a cool place maybe in the night or early in the morning at home you should be able to hear it urself

Heartbeat is heard from 12 weeks. How can she say that 26 weeks is too early? Hope you went to a good/quality hospital

Sarah , I went to the clinic... I was confused. She was so sure that my baby is bigger than the months of the calendar

I am 25 weeks now i could feel the baby movement n i even heared the heart beat at the clinic last month.

Make sure that you go for a scan to verify what the nurses told you coz by now you should feel your baby move n heart beat

Tshamie , I do feel the movements almost everyday . I went to the doctor on the 13th of January n scan showed tht I'm 22 weeks, which correspond very well with me being 26 weeks now... I was just surprised when she said my baby is bigger than 26 weeks.. Lol maybe it's twins ??

Lol sometimes nurses will confused us? aslong as you consulted the doctor don't stress mommy

U can't be sure of the type of nurse she is,possibly not a qualified nurse.
