Yesterday I wrote a post about having my epidural removed and planned to go to the maternity ward to give birth, but ended up going there for another reason. When I had an appointment, they took off my ring, and I had elevated blood pressure of 140/90. The doctor said to monitor my blood pressure and take two Nifedipine tablets if it doesn't drop, but my blood pressure didn't drop, so I followed the doctor's instructions.
