My mom gave birth at 37 years old easily. She never had any complications with me, I grew up quite healthy. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What's amazing is that I am as old as she was. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению многих специалистов наиболее подходящий период для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит сразу беспокоиться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не существует такого понятия как идеальный возраст для родов детей. Осложнения могут появляться среди молодых и в зрелых годах рожениц практически в одинаковой степени. Все связано с конкретными характеристиками организма. Чтобы женщина легко родила в 37, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных предписаний и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться акушеру.
