My mom gave birth at 38 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed into a healthy child. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant. What's unexpected is that I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению большинства врачей наиболее удачный период для рождения ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не желательно сразу волноваться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого термина как оптимальный возраст для родоразрешения детей. Проблемы могут возникать среди молодых и зрелых рожениц почти в равной степени. Все определяется индивидуальными свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама легко родила в 38, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных указаний и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться специалисту.
