My mom gave birth at 46 years old easily. She never had any problems with me, I grew up quite healthy. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It was unexpected: I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению многих акушеров-гинекологов наиболее подходящий возраст для рождения ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит предварительно волноваться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого понятия как идеальный возраст для родоразрешения детей. Осложнения могут развиваться среди юных и зрелых рожениц практически в равной степени. Все связано с определенными особенностями организма. Чтобы будущая мама успешно родила в 46, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не опасаться и довериться медицинскому персоналу.
