My mom gave birth at 46 years old easily. She never had any problems with me, I grew up a pretty healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm carrying a baby in my belly. What unexpected: I am as old as them. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению большинства акушеров-гинекологов наиболее подходящий возраст для рождения ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не нужно сразу волноваться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого термина как оптимальный возраст для родов детей. Трудности могут появляться среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц почти в равной степени. Все определяется имеющимися характеристиками организма. Чтобы женщина удачно родила в 46, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных предписаний и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться специалисту.
