My mom gave birth at 47 without complications. She never had any problems with me growing up, I was a healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be problem-free?

По мнению многих врачей наиболее подходящий возраст для рождения малыша – от двадцати до тридцати лет. Однако не стоит сразу беспокоиться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого термина как идеальный возраст для родоразрешения детей. Сложности могут возникать среди юных и зрелых рожениц практически в идентичной степени. Все обуславливается имеющимися свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина беспроблемно родила в 47, следует, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и здорового образа жизни во время беременности ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться специалисту.
