My mom gave birth at 48 without complications. She never had any difficulties with me growing up, I was a pretty healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be problem-free?

По мнению большинства специалистов наиболее подходящий возраст для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не нужно заранее волноваться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как оптимальный возраст для рождения детей. Проблемы могут появляться среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц практически в равной степени. Все связано с определенными свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама беспроблемно родила в 48, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и правильного распорядка дня во время беременности ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться специалисту.
