My mother gave birth at 51 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed into a healthy child. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant. What's unexpected is that I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

Однако не рекомендуется предварительно бить тревогу, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как идеальный возраст для рождения детей. Трудности могут возникать среди молодых и в зрелых годах рожениц практически в равной степени. Все связано с индивидуальными свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина удачно родила в 51, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных указаний и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не паниковать и довериться акушеру.
