Girls, help me make the right decision!! How do you feel about hair coloring, eyebrows and gel polish? Do you do these manipulations during pregnancy? I want to be beautiful and well-groomed in this wonderful position ?and at the same time not harm the baby! ?‍♀️?‍♀️

I'm getting gel nails. I haven't done my makeup yet but I want to. I haven't had a haircut.

I cut and dye my hair about once a year, it's not necessary for now. And they've really darkened recently, so I'll probably have to pick a different coloring, but I don't feel like fussing with that right now. I've been getting manicures and pedicures consistently every two weeks throughout the whole pregnancy with gel polish, haven't missed a single one, I can't do without those treatments. My nails were already good, and now from the vitamins they grow much faster — I'm literally my manicurist's dream? And I get my eyebrows dyed with henna once a month, just like before. I don't see anything wrong with that?‍♀️ Also I've developed a quirk. I don't want to go give birth with dirty hair. Soon I'll probably be washing it twice a day?

Даша , I won't cut my hair, even though it's bad and brittle, during my first pregnancy my hair was gorgeous... but with the second it's exactly the opposite... and I also can't go without gel polish, I feel naked))?‍♀️

Алена , My hair was falling out a lot before pregnancy, and now it's become absolutely perfect. Too bad it won't last long.

I got my nails done. Also a haircut, and I dyed my hair with ammonia-free dye. Everything's fine. The only thing is my mother-in-law kept butting in with her superstitions, even saying that if you cut your hair the baby's sex would change... What a fool, God forgive her ?

You can do all of that. Just be sure to do your makeup in a well-ventilated room. And gel doesn't hold for everyone because of hormonal changes.

I dyed my hair when I was three months pregnant; I also wanted to before going to the maternity hospital, but in the end I didn't risk breathing that dye. I trimmed the ends a couple of weeks ago. I also wanted gel polish before the maternity hospital, but I decided that for labor you should go, so to speak, "clean" — without lashes and other extras, no nail coatings, and with trimmed nails?

I dye my hair, trim the ends, get manicures and pedicures, all ok) on my hands gel+top coat. Since the start of my pregnancy I haven't skipped these things. The baby is fine. In the first trimester I used an ammonia-free dye, now I'm using a different one, I just try not to breathe it in and ventilate the room well.

I dyed it with regular dye three times and get gel polish every three weeks, same during my first pregnancy. But I've never had a haircut—I don't believe in superstitions, I just don't feel like cutting it.

I lightened my hair while pregnant, but my head was terribly dizzy afterwards and it hurt. Well, only if you wear a mask so you don't breathe it in at all ??‍♀️

Gel polish — can't do without it! I had my hair done in the first five weeks; I started feeling bad at the salon. I don't dye my eyebrows at all.

Я и стриглась, и педикюр с гель-лаком делала. Сейчас уже не такие едкие препараты, чтоб боятся этого)

Гель лак делаю, на счёт волос не знаю, так как свой цвет не крашу совсем. Сегодня делала ламинирование ресниц, ничего в этом страшного нет, только лежать тяжело было.
