My mom had me at 18 without complications. She never had any issues with me growing up, I developed quite healthily. I just found out that she's pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm as old as her. Can I also expect a smooth delivery?

По мнению большинства акушеров-гинекологов наиболее подходящий возраст для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не рекомендуется сразу переживать, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого термина как оптимальный возраст для рождения детей. Проблемы могут развиваться среди молодых и зрелых рожениц почти в одинаковой степени. Все определяется индивидуальными свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина успешно родила в 18, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться акушеру.
