My mom had me at 21. She never had any problems with me, I developed relatively smoothly as a child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What's unexpected is that I'm the same age. Can I also hope for a smooth delivery?

По мнению многих акушеров-гинекологов наиболее удачный возраст для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не нужно заранее бить тревогу, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого термина как идеальный возраст для родоразрешения детей. Проблемы могут появляться среди молодых и в зрелых годах рожениц почти в равной степени. Все связано с конкретными особенностями организма. Чтобы женщина успешно родила в 21, следует, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не паниковать и довериться специалисту.
