My mom gave birth at 34 without complications. She never had any difficulties with me growing up, I was relatively healthy as a child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm the same age. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению многих акушеров-гинекологов наиболее подходящий возраст для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не нужно заранее беспокоиться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого понятия как оптимальный возраст для родов детей. Проблемы могут появляться среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в равной степени. Все связано с конкретными свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина беспроблемно родила в 34, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и правильного распорядка дня во время беременности ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не опасаться и довериться акушеру.
