My mom gave birth at 34 without complications. She never had any difficulties with me growing up, I was a pretty healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What's amazing is that I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth sailing?

По мнению большинства специалистов наиболее лучший период для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не рекомендуется сразу переживать, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как идеальный возраст для родов детей. Осложнения могут развиваться среди молодых и в зрелых годах рожениц практически в равной степени. Все определяется имеющимися особенностями организма. Чтобы женщина удачно родила в 34, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться акушеру.
