My mom gave birth at 38 years old easily. She never had any complications with me, I grew up as a healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm in the same age category as her. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению многих врачей наиболее лучший возраст для рождения ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не нужно заранее беспокоиться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. В действительности не существует такого понятия как идеальный возраст для родов детей. Сложности могут возникать среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в равной степени. Все связано с индивидуальными особенностями организма. Чтобы будущая мама успешно родила в 38, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и правильного распорядка дня во время беременности ребенка, своевременно сдавать необходимые анализы. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не опасаться и довериться специалисту.
