My mom gave birth at 40 without complications. She never had any difficulties with me growing up, I was a pretty healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm carrying a baby in my belly. What's unexpected is that I'm as old as it is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth sailing?

По мнению большинства акушеров-гинекологов наиболее лучший период для появления ребенка – от двадцати до тридцати лет. Однако не нужно предварительно волноваться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не существует такого термина как идеальный возраст для родов детей. Сложности могут развиваться среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц практически в идентичной степени. Все обуславливается конкретными характеристиками организма. Чтобы женщина беспроблемно родила в 40, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и правильного распорядка дня во время беременности ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не опасаться и довериться акушеру.
