My mother gave birth at 41 without complications. She never had any difficulties with me growing up, I was a healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What's amazing is that I am as old as she is. Can I also expect a smooth delivery?

По мнению многих врачей наиболее подходящий возраст для появления ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не желательно предварительно бить тревогу, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не существует такого понятия как оптимальный возраст для родов детей. Сложности могут возникать среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц практически в равной степени. Все связано с имеющимися характеристиками организма. Чтобы будущая мама легко родила в 41, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться акушеру.
