My mom gave birth at 45 years old easily. She never had any complications with me, I developed into a healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It was unexpected: I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению большинства специалистов наиболее удачный возраст для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит сразу беспокоиться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. В действительности не существует такого термина как идеальный возраст для рождения детей. Осложнения могут появляться среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в равной степени. Все обуславливается определенными характеристиками организма. Чтобы женщина легко родила в 45, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не паниковать и довериться специалисту.
