My mother gave birth at 52 without complications. She never had any difficulties with me growing up, I was quite a chubby child. Recently, I found out that she's pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm as old as her. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению многих врачей наиболее удачный период для рождения ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит сразу волноваться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого понятия как идеальный возраст для родоразрешения детей. Сложности могут появляться среди молодых и зрелых рожениц почти в идентичной степени. Все обуславливается конкретными свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама легко родила в 52, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных указаний и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно сдавать необходимые анализы. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться медицинскому персоналу.
