My mother gave birth at 52 without complications. She never had any difficulties with me growing up, I was a healthy child. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I'm pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению многих врачей наиболее удачный возраст для появления ребенка – от двадцати до тридцати лет. Однако не нужно заранее беспокоиться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого термина как идеальный возраст для родов детей. Осложнения могут развиваться среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в равной степени. Все определяется конкретными особенностями организма. Чтобы женщина удачно родила в 52, следует, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться специалисту.
