At what age could your children already speak clearly? My son turns 2.3 tomorrow. Of course, there are words, he doesn't stay silent. He pronounces some things clearly, others not so much, but it's still worrying that he isn't at least speaking in phrases. We saw a neurologist a while ago who said his development was normal. Should I take him to a specialist? They usually start monitoring from age 3.

I answered the doctor, 'He doesn't speak.' But then my son interrupted me and started answering the doctor. He got all the pictures right without any mistakes and quite clearly. I left the office in shock. From that day on, my son got a boost. The neurologist who saw us next said the child needed a push to start speaking. We were just about to go to the sea and after the trip, my child really started talking non-stop)) that's the story))"

Two children started talking after they turned three, and they talked so much that it gave me a headache. And another two at one and a half years old were already chatting away, one of them in two languages. So, it all depends on the individual.

She started saying some words at 2.6 years old, and each month she knew more words. At 3 years old, she began using phrases and word combinations. Around 3.3 years, she started speaking in full sentences. Now at 3.6, she never stops talking.

Danel , I took her to a neurologist and an osteopath a couple of times. The neurologist said to wait until she turns 3 years old, while the osteopath said that massages and physical therapy are urgently needed. My husband and I decided to wait until she is 3 years old, as my husband also started speaking only after he turned 3.
