Hello, my little one is searching for the breast but isn't latching on, just turning her head (searching with her mouth closed). It takes some time for her to "figure out" to open her mouth and latch on. Is this normal? There is enough milk, and she is gaining weight. Nothing is troubling her. It just feels like she doesn't immediately realize that she needs to slightly open her mouth and latch on. ?

Yes, such behavior in infants is perfectly normal. Some children need time to learn how to latch on properly. It is important to support the child and help them in this process. Gradually, they will improve their latching and feeding skills. The main thing is that the child is gaining weight and does not experience discomfort during feeding. If you have no other feeding issues, then there is no need to worry.
