Hello everyone! My first screening at 12 weeks is coming up. On the ultrasound order it only says "fetal ultrasound, 1–2 trimester" and "3D ultrasound". I don't know: at the first-trimester fetal ultrasound do they give a photo (of the fetus)? Do they take blood for biochemistry there? Is that done in the ultrasound room? Or is it just an abdominal ultrasound? Please tell me how it works.
