Hey girls, hi everyone! I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant. The thing is, back at the beginning of May I asked a girl from HR to add me to the list of insured, and about 3 weeks ago I asked to be added to the prenatal care registry. Before my doctor's visit it turned out she had forgotten to add me, even though she kept saying everything was fine. It took 3 weeks before I was insured and added to prenatal care. At first I thought I'd pay for the screening and ultrasound myself, while also hoping they'd add me quickly. Today I'm exactly 14 weeks—I went for an ultrasound and they said overall everything is fine. But what they check at 11–12 weeks can’t be assessed now: the baby has outgrown the window for the 1st screening, and isn’t yet ready for the 2nd. Tomorrow I'm going to have blood tests. Has anyone dealt with this situation? How reliable were your test results? How serious is this? Is there no way to use these tests for the 2nd screening? I'm very worried and hoping for the best 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I’ll listen to everyone.
