Girls, I had cytomegalovirus — my IgG was positive (as high as >250). I took medication, then tested for IgM and it turned negative. The same happened with the Epstein–Barr virus. I’m 5 weeks pregnant now and terribly worried — could something happen to the baby? Has anyone had the same experience, was everything okay? What did the doctor say? I did all these tests back in 2019: IgG in November and IgM in December. I recently became pregnant and I’m afraid the infection might be starting to progress again.
