Encountered problematic situation at 40 weeks of pregnancy: started to hurt abdomen. What does it mean? Scheduled only for gynecologist appointment next month according to plan. What should I do? Go see him now or wait and not worry?

Может быть серия причин, из-за которых болит живот на 40 неделе беременности. Самая безопасная – увеличение матки, связок, кишечника и шевеления плода. Вреда такие боли не представляют, и не подразумевают медицинского вмешательства. А вот если 40 неделя беременности, и болит живот как при месячных (тянущий эффект), то необходимо обязательно обратиться к гинекологу, из-за того что есть вероятность выкидыша. Когда тянущая боль характеризуется регулярным желанием помочиться, то может быть воспаление мочевого. В таком случае стоит также незамедлительно посетить уролога.
