Before pregnancy, I weighed 55 kg. I am 176 cm tall (and couldn't gain weight), but now at 28 weeks, my weight is 76 kg...visually there's no obesity, my body isn't flabby. Has anyone else had a significant weight gain, what did you do and what did your doctor say?

If you experienced significant weight gain during pregnancy, it is important to consult a doctor to assess your condition and health. The doctor may recommend that you monitor your diet, increase physical activity, or consult a dietitian. It is also important to remember that weight during pregnancy can vary for each woman, and in some cases, significant weight gain may be due to physiological characteristics of the body. The main thing is to monitor your well-being, health, and regularly visit the doctor for check-ups.

My friend had a counterweight of 20kg and she lost weight quickly. I had 15 kg and was told to cut out sweets, bread, and buns, and then the weight stabilized on its own.

The gain was +22. Before pregnancy, I kept myself in strict limits, so initially during pregnancy, I indulged and quickly gained weight. In the middle of the pregnancy, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and was put on a diet, from that moment on my weight practically stopped increasing. Half a year after giving birth, I started exercising and lost all the weight. I advise you to consult an endocrinologist to check if you have gestational diabetes or a predisposition to it, and then you can be at ease ☺️ Good luck!

The weight was 56 kg, height 173 cm. I also gained weight and the doctors didn't say anything. I gave birth at 40 weeks and 3 days. Two weeks before giving birth, I developed gestational diabetes. Although I had previously had tests for thyroid issues and checked for diabetes, everything was normal. Don't eat sweets or flour-based foods. I also ate a lot of grapes and spicy food in the third trimester.
